  Stadtwerke München (SWM) renew further parts of its traffic infrastructure in 2019.
-Until mid of December 2019 extensive road and track construction works continue around Romanplatz. As part of our programme to eliminate speed restrictions further construction works are carried out on Sonnenstraße / Landwehrstraße and Landsberger Straße / Elsenheimerstraße crossing from mid of August until early September 2019.

-Tram 16
-Die Tram 16 wird zwischen den  Hauptbahnhof und Maxmonument über die  Lenbachplatz, Marienplatz (Theatinerstraße), Nationaltheater und Kammerspiele umgeleitet.
-Die  Karlsplatz (Stachus) entfällt. Dorthin gelangen Sie – von Osten kommend – ab der  Maxmonument mit den Tramlinien 19 und 21, von Westen kommend ab der  Hauptbahnhof mit der U4 / U5 bzw. den S-Bahnen.
-Die  Sendlinger Tor, Müllerstraße, Reichenbachplatz und Isartor werden nur von der Tram 17 bedient. Von Osten kommend nutzen Sie bitte die Tram 17 in Richtung Sendlinger Tor, von Westen kommend ab der  Hauptbahnhof die U1, U2 und U7 und steigen am Sendlinger Tor zur Tram 17 um.
-Die  Mariannenplatz entfällt. Dorthin gelangen Sie ab den  Maxmonument bzw. Isartor mit einem kurzen Fußweg (jeweils ca. 300 Meter).
-  Tram 16 is diverted between the  Central Station and Maxmonument via the  Lenbachplatz, Marienplatz (Theatinerstraße), Nationaltheater and Kammerspiele.
-The  Karlsplatz (Stachus) is suspended. and may be reached - coming from the east - from the  Maxmonument by tram lines 19 and 21, coming from the west from the  Central Station by U4 / U5 and S-Bahn services.
-The  Sendlinger Tor, Müllerstraße, Reichenbachplatz and Isartor are served by tram 17 only. Coming from the east please use tram 17 towards Sendlinger Tor, coming from the west please use U1, U2 and U7 from the  Central Station and change at Sendlinger Tor for tram 17.
-The  Mariannenplatz is suspended and may be reached from the  Maxmonument and Isartor with a short walk (approx. 300 metres each).

-Die Tram 17 ist zwischen den  Hauptbahnhof und Sendlinger Tor unterbrochen. Im Osten verkehren die Züge als Linie 17 auf dem Abschnitt St. Emmeram - Effnerplatz - Max-Weber-Platz - Isartor - Sendlinger Tor. Der westliche Linienast verkehrt als Linie 37 auf dem Abschnitt Romanplatz - Donnersbergerstraße - Hackerbrücke - Hauptbahnhof (Bahnhofplatz) und von dort weiter als Tram 38 via Trappentreustraße und Westendstraße zum Gondrellplatz.
-Die  Karlsplatz (Stachus) entfällt. Dorthin gelangen Sie - von Osten kommend - ab der  Max-Weber-Platz mit den Tramlinien 19 und 21 bzw. ab der  Isartor mit den S-Bahnen. Von Westen kommend nutzen Sie bitte die U4 / U5 bzw. die S-Bahnen ab der  Hauptbahnhof.
-Die  Sendlinger Tor ist in die Brunnenschleife (vor der Kirche) verlegt.
-Zwischen den  Sendlinger Tor und Hauptbahnhof nutzen Sie bitte die U1, U2 und U7.
-  Tram 17 is interrupted between the  Central Station and Sendlinger Tor. In the east tram 17 runs St. Emmeram - Effnerplatz - Max-Weber-Platz - Isartor - Sendlinger Tor. The western branch is served as tram 37 on the route Romanplatz - Donnersbergerstraße - Hackerbrücke - Central Station (Bahnhofplatz) and continues as tram 38 via Trappentreustraße and Westendstraße to Gondrellplatz.
-The  Karlsplatz (Stachus) is suspended and may be reached - coming from the east - by tram 19 and 21 from the  Max-Weber-Platz or by S-Bahn services from the  Isartor. Coming from the west please use U4 / U5 or S-Bahn services from the  Central Station.

-Please use U1, U2 and U7 to link up between the  Sendlinger Tor and Central Station.

-Die Tram 18 ist zwischen den  Sendlinger Tor und Hauptbahnhof unterbrochen. Im Südosten verkehren die Züge als Linie 18 auf dem Abschnitt Schwanseestraße - Giesing Bf. - Ostfriedhof - Sendlinger Tor. Der westliche Linienast verkehrt als Linie 38 auf dem Abschnitt Gondrellplatz - Westendstraße - Trappentreustraße - Hauptbahnhof (Bahnhofplatz) und von dort weiter als Tram 37 via Hackerbrücke und Donnersbergerstraße zum Romanplatz.
-Die  Karlsplatz (Stachus) entfällt. Dorthin nutzen Sie bitte ab der  Giesing Bf. die S3 und S7 bzw. ab der  Sendlinger Tor die U1, U2 und U7 bis Hauptbahnhof und steigen dort zur U4 / U5 oder zu den S-Bahnen um. Von Westen kommend nutzen Sie bitte ab den  Westendstraße oder Hauptbahnhof Süd die U4 / U5.
-Die  Sendlinger Tor ist in die Brunnenschleife (vor der Kirche) verlegt.

-Die Tramlinien 20 und N20 fahren auf ihrem regulären Linienweg von Moosach Bf. via Westfriedhof, Leonrodplatz und Stiglmaierplatz zum Karlsplatz (Stachus) und von dort weiter als Tram 27 / N27 via Pinakotheken, Kurfürstenplatz und Nordbad zum Petuelring.
-Die  Karlsplatz (Stachus) ist in Fahrtrichtung Moosach Bf. zur Halteposition 7 in die Prielmayerstraße ( der Tram 19 Richtung Pasing Bf. und 21 Richtung Westfriedhof) verlegt. Die Halteposition 5 in der Bayerstraße (vor Galeria Kaufhof) entfällt.
-Die  Hauptbahnhof (Bahnhofplatz) kann nicht bedient werden. Um die Tram 20 / N20 nach Moosach Bf. zu erreichen, begeben Sie sich bitte zur  Hauptbahnhof Nord an der Einmündung Dachauer Straße / Elisenstraße oder zur  Karlsplatz (Stachus) in der Prielmayerstraße. Eine Wegbeschreibung finden Sie auf den Aushängen in den Infovitrinen.
-  Tram lines 20 / N20 run on their regular route from Moosach Bf. via Westfriedhof, Leonrodplatz and Stiglmaierplatz to Karlsplatz (Stachus) and continues as tram 27 / N27 via Pinakotheken, Kurfürstenplatz and Nordbad to Petuelring.
-The  Karlsplatz (Stachus) towards Moosach Bf. is relocated to stop position 7 in Prielmayerstraße ( of tram 19 towards Pasing Bf. and 21 towards Westfriedhof). Stop position 5 in Bayerstraße (in front of Galeria Kaufhof is suspended).
-The  Central Station (Bahnhofplatz) cannot be served. To reach tram 20 / N20 towards Moosach Bf. please proceed to the  Hauptbahnhof Nord at Dachauer Straße / Elisenstraße junction or to the  Karlsplatz (Stachus) in Prielmayerstraße. A description how to find these stop may be found in the information showcases.
-Tram 27 / 28
-Die Tramlinien 27 und 28 fahren verkürzt auf dem Linienweg Petuelring / Scheidplatz - Kurfürstenplatz - Pinakotheken - Karlsplatz (Stachus).
-Ab der  Karlsplatz (Stachus) fährt die Tram 27 weiter als Tram 20 via Stiglmaierplatz, Leonrodplatz und Westfriedhof nach Moosach Bf., die Tram 28 fährt via Stiglmaierplatz weiter bis zur  Hochschule München.
-Die  Karlsplatz (Stachus) ist in Richtung Petuelring / Scheidplatz zur Halteposition 6 in die Prielmayerstraße ( der Tram 19 Richtung Berg am Laim Bf. und 21 Richtung Westfriedhof) verlegt. Die Halteposition 3 in der Sonnenstraße entfällt.
-Die  Sendlinger Tor entfällt. Fahrgäste aus dem Bereich Schwabing nutzen dorthin bitte die U2 bzw. U3 ab den  Scheidplatz, Hohenzollernplatz bzw. Petuelring. Zwischen den  Sendlinger Tor und Hauptbahnhof nutzen Sie bitte auch die U1, U2 und U7.
-  Tram lines 27 and 28 run on the shortened route Petuelring / Scheidplatz - Kurfürstenplatz - Pinakotheken - Karlsplatz (Stachus).
