Trambahnzug am Hauptbahnhof

Trambahn, manchmal auch Tram, wird in München die Straßenbahn genannt. Das Münchner Trambahnlinien-Netz wird von der Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH betrieben.

Geschichte

Am 21. Oktober 1876 fuhr die erste Pferdebahnlinie.

Am 30. Mai 1975 wird offiziell der letzte Trambahnschaffner abgeschafft.

• Trambahnlinie 8

Weitere Pläne

Desweiteren gibt es noch folgende Pläne zum Netzausbau:

• Die Tram 17 soll als "Cosimaexpress" vom Effnerplatz über den Arabellapark (U4) weiter zur Haltestelle Englschalking (S8) weitergebaut werden.
• Eine Linie 22 soll den Bus 51 zwischen Romanplatz und Aidenbachstraße ersetzen.
